If you think TBA is broken, you're right. Blogger has made some changes and now they no longer support use of FTP for uploads. For the non-tech savvy, Blogger made changes that broke the site. Sharp is working on the code to fix it.
Fear not though, our Facebook still works (search for Tampa Bay Anime on Facebook), the MySpace is still up as well and the forums can still be reached at the following URL. http://forums.tampabayanime.org
All will be fixed soon. Thanks to those that pointed this out. See everyone at the meeting. :)
Welcome to the new year! Tampa Bay Anime is back for another year of fun, friends, and (of course) anime.
We have lots to look forward to this year, including new shows, returning conventions, and the usual regular meetings. Hopefully, we’ll meet some new people and make new friends. You might discover a new favorite show, or a new character might become your favorite. Who knows?!
Thank you for contacting MySpace and for bringing this profile and/or profiles to our attention. We appreciate your help in creating a fun and safe MySpace community! The profile(s) in question have already been or are scheduled to be removed from the site.
I'm proud to announce a couple new features that have just been added to the Tampa Bay Anime forums.
The first one is something a lot of people have asked for. There is now a section at the top of each page that shows the date for the next TBA meeting. It automatically updates itself, so it should always be accurate. If we are going to skip a meeting date, then this will be updated so that it skips that date and reminds you why the date is being skipped.
The second feature is much more fun. There is now a code that you can use to embed YouTube videos directly into your forum posts. All you have to do is find that video's id, and then type it in surrounded by . To find a video's id, look at its url. Find the characters after the "v=". If there is an "&" after that, the code is everything between "v=" and "&". Otherwise, it's everything after "v=".
As you can tell, the Tampa Bay Anime website has undergone some changes. We're starting fresh, with a new format and new integration with our forums. Learn more about the changes and why they were made by clicking the Read More link below.
